Simple vs Complex Carbs
Most carbohydrates that Americans are consuming tend to be simple carbohydrates. We’re telling Americans to eat a diet high in carbohydrates – 50% of our calories or higher – not the simple type, but the complex carbohydrates found in whole grain foods.
